Later, visit Jehangir Mahal built by Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo, Raj Mahal and Chaturbhuj temple. Orchha's fort complex, the entrance of which is a multi- arched bridge, has three impressive palaces placed in an open quadrangle. Fragile chhatries and ornate trellis work heighten the effect of artistic richness. The Raj Mahal was built by Madhukar Shah, the religious predecessor of Bir Singh Ju Deo. One of the city's greatest attractions is the Chaturbhuj Temple, which is situated right opposite the Raja Mahal. Dedicated to the four-armed deity, Chaturbhuj (Chaturbhuj literally means four-armed), the temple has plenty of light and space inside, a feature unusual for a Hindu temple. Drive to Khajuraho. On arrival, check-in to the hotel in Khajuraho. In the afternoon, proceed on a temple tour visiting the Kandariya Mahadeo Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The other temples of interest are Chausath Yogini, Chitragupta etc. each with its own history and presiding deity. The most awesome and the largest temple in Khajuraho, Kandariya Mahadev Temple is built in around 1025-1050 AD. A typical sandstone structure, the temple is dedicated to Shiva with a linga at the center of the Garbha Griha. The elaborately engraved main shrine is bejewelled with more than 800 images, of which most of them are three feet high. The most elegant and famous temple also houses some of the fantastically ornate frescos on its wall, which speaks out the artistic grandeur of the bygone days. Chausath Yogini, is the oldest surviving temple in the group (900 A.D.), this is the sole granite temple dedicated to Goddess Kali. Only 35 of the original 65 cells remain and no image of Kali has survived not surprisingly, since this is the earliest surviving shrine of the group dated to 900 AD. Another Kali temple, which was originally dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is the Devi Jagdambe temple. An ancient shrine, dedicated to Lord Surya, Chitragupta Temple faces eastwards to the rising sun. A 11th century old monument this temple enshrines an impressive 5 ft high image of Lord Surya in a standing posture driving a chariot of seven horses. Fabulously carved walls, which depicts voluptuous and full figured sura- sundaris, erotic couples, image of lord Vishnu in the 11 headed forms, Chitragupta Temple really provides a rare feast to the viewer. Today, proceed to Panna National Park near the Ken River with its deep gorges, tranquil valley and dense teak forests. The region, famous for its diamond industry, is also home to some of the best wildlife species. Generally, we operate all the tours that we launch, however in some cases the total number of bookings fall below our prescribed minimum operating capacity, in such cases we give you options and then accommodate or merge your tour with other available tours. An e-ticket is a paperless electronic document with a unique confirmation number that neatly replaces the hassles of a paper ticket. You may request for a copy to be sent to your e-mail id, in-case of International tours - if & when you require e-tickets for buying Forex, for VISA formalities. Yes, you get an advance booking discount for all tours on paying full registration amount at the time of booking. Discounts are slab wise and are given on first cum first serve basis. They are valid for limited seats, limited period, and limited tours and vary depending on the tour and region, so book early and save thousands. Travel of Indiaalso offers full payment discount if you pay the entire tour price 60 - 300 days prior to the tour departure.

This is because we incur expenses of the tour in two currencies. We highly recommend you to carry sufficient medicines along with you on tour. At present for most of the destinations, it is 20 to 25 kg for cargo and 6 to 7 kg for handbag per ticket but it does vary with the airline. For guest traveling to US at present baggage is controlled by Piece Concept. Under the Piece Concept, passengers are permitted per ticket to check two bags with a per-bag weight of up to 23 kg for Economy Class. However for internal flights there is no free baggage allowed, your 1 check in baggage cost is paid by Travel of Indiabut the second check-in baggage if any has to be paid by guest. Also due to security reasons during internal flight the bags cannot be locked, same will be timely instructed by the Tour Leader on tour. Hand baggage of 7 kg is allowed for both international and internal flights.
Indian tour price does not include air or railway tickets. In-case, you wish to travel by rail the tickets have to be booked by yourself. We book for your air travel only. However, we also have Air to Air tours where the tour price is inclusive of to and fro air ticket cost.
If you book your own railway / air tickets then the ticket details must be shared with the travel Consultant.
Travel of India will assist you with one way tickets for regular tours but for Air to Air packages guest has to take to and fro ticket. They cannot opt for only one way ticket as the to & fro ticket fare is included in the tour price.
At present, depending upon the airline, most of the airlines are allowing 15 Kgs of Cargo bags per ticket and 05 Kgs of Handbag per ticket. In addition to hand baggage, one personal item like Laptop or ladies purse is allowed. However, due to security reasons for Jammu and Srinagar flights the hand baggage also goes along with the check in baggage and only laptop or digital camera is permitted inside the aircraft.

Seat numbers in the coach are allotted on the booking priority, first come first serve basis. Seat numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 in each coach are reserved for the Tour Leader / Guide and are Premium seats. Further seat allocation is done as per the booking priority and the same is informed by the Tour Leaders on tour.
You need to book as early as possible to get the first seats in the coach. However, for selected World Tours, seat number 3 , 4 are reserved as premium seats which can be booked subject to availability and at an additional cost. Premium seats cannot be availed if the tour is full.
The road journey is completely dependent on the tour itinerary and number of places covered. The driving distance varies for each tour. You get sufficient halts during the journey.
As per the tour itinerary requirement, there is a preset menu. We serve vegetarian food along with 1 non vegetarian dish. Breakfast is continental and meals are Indian with an occasional addition of Fast/Local food.
Yes, special meal like Jain meal (No onion garlic), Fasting meal- as per availability and Baby meal can be arranged subject to prior intimation. In case of baby meal we provide tin milk, plain dal and rice only, during meals as per the itinerary. VISA is the short form for Visitors Intending to Stay Abroad. It is a permission granted by the high commission or consulate of the country you wish to visit. Yes, you can get a refund after deducting the VISA application fees and cancellation charges, if any.
It is advisable to acquire adequate Overseas Travel Insurance cover for protection from any possible risks such as damage, loss, accident or injury to life etc on tour. For Europe and Dubai tours, the insurance is included in the tour price for those aged up to 59 years for the duration of the tour. Guest above 59 years of age will have to pay the difference on the insurance premium as applicable.
The Visa or Insurance included in the tour price is only for the tour duration. For your extended holiday we will process your visa or insurance accordingly, you just need to pay the difference.

For World Tours, we have 1 Tour Leader for the entire group where as for Indian Tours, 1 Tour Leader with 1 or 2 Tour Assistant depending upon group size.
We recommend you to book your tour at least 9 months prior to the scheduled departure date as most of our tours fill up 6 months in advance. For Indian tours, railway booking opens 120 days prior to the departure date. However, if you book early you can avail of the advance booking discounts, priority in the coach etc.
To book a World Tour, you need passport with 6 months validity subsequent to the scheduled departure date of the tour and with sufficient number of blank pages for visa purposes. You also need to pay a registration amount depending on the tour price. Whereas for Indian Tours identification proof and registration amount is required for detailed information on the booking procedure.
If you pay the tour price at one go 60 days prior departure then you are benefited as you get full payment discount. It is not mandatory though; you can pay the registration amount to book and pay the balance payment later.

As per RBI circular, the Basic Travel Quota per financial year is US $10000 per person for private visit and US $25000 for business visit.

The Registration amount paid at the time of booking, is non refundable & interest free. However, to ensure you're booking at given price & allowed discount, you need to pay the entire amount of initial deposit amount in stipulated time line.
Yes, your refund amount is transferable to your other tour. In case, if you want your refund amount to be transferred to that your friends or relatives tour, we'll need a duly signed Authority Letter from you.
No, the refund amount is not adjustable against part cancellation.
Ideally, it takes 4 - 5 working days to process refunds, once the guest agrees on refund amount. However, to derive the best amount of refund, it takes additional operational time to deal with airlines, hoteliers etc.
Ideally, the refund amount is credited using the same mode of payment that you had used to book the tour, the only exception in this case is if you had used Cash/Demand Draft in such case, the mode of payment for refund will be 'Account Payee' cheque only. In case of Credit Card, the transaction would be reversed accordingly, considering the bank charges/Service charges on Credit Card payments which is non-refundable.
Yes, online refunds are possible, if the booking was done online. If Travel of India cancels the tour for whatsoever reason,then the entire tour cost will be refunded.
