Description


Italy, a European country with a long Mediterranean coastline, has left a powerful mark on Western culture and cuisine. Its capital, Rome, is home to the Vatican as well as landmark art and ancient ruins. Other major cities include Florence, with Renaissance masterpieces such as Michelangelo’s "David" and Brunelleschi's Duomo; Venice, the city of canals; and Milan, Italy’s fashion capital.

Day 1: Milan

Meet and greet upon arrival at Milan Airport and transfer to your hotel. Check in Hotel (1400hrs). Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Milan.

Day 2: Milan

Proceed for a Guided City Panoramic Tour of Milan which will include a panoramic view of the city with your tour guide. Milan Guided City Panoramic Tour will include a panoramic view of the city with your tour guide. Later we proceed to Venice via Verona where we will stop at the Romeo and Juliet Balcony. Orientation Tour of Verona. After this proceed to Tronchetto where you will meet your Water boat (Boat Included) and tranfer to your hotel on Venice Island. Check into hotel and rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Milan. (B)

Day 3: Venice

Today we proceed for Guided Walking Tour of Venice. This interesting tour is centered around the history of St. Mark's Square and its main monuments. We will be visiting the St. Mark's Basilica with its marble and mosaics, and the Ducal Palace where the old Republic of Venice exercised their political and commercial powers in the Doge Palace. Next we will cross the Bridge of Sighs arriving at the famous Venice Jail. Rest of the day is free for you to discover the beautiful Venice. You may also utilise the time to do some shopping in the place where you can find all the big brands from all over the world. Overnight at the hotel Venice. (B)

Day 4: Venice - Cinque Terre - Florence

Today return to the mainland by boat and meet your Long Distance Vehicle and proceed to Cinque Terre. The Cinque Terre is a rugged portion of coast on the Italian Riviera. It is in the Liguria region of Italy, to the west of the city of La Spezia. "The Five Lands" comprises five villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your Guided Tour of Cinque Terre tour and explore the five protected towns of Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. We will start from La Spezia, where your guide will take you on board a train for the short ride to the colourful village of Riomaggiore, the first of the Cinque Terre towns. No car traffic is allowed in the Cinque Terre, and visitors and locals alike travel by train, boat, electric bus, and on foot. The villages tumble down steep hillsides covered in grape vines and olive groves, harvested for centuries by Cinque Terre residents. You can taste the harvest yourself in a local restaurant serving the region's white wines, fresh fish and signature pesto. Later return back to La Spezia where you will meet your vehicle and continue your journey to Florence. Arrive and check into hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Florence. (B)

Day 5: Florence - Greve - Siena

Today we proceed for a Guided Panoramic City Tour of Lucca. We start with its impressive Rampart, and proceed inside the city with the Cathedral of S. Martino, within which you will find the famous medieval crucifix, the Volto Santo, and the Last Supper attributed to the Venetian painter, Tintoretto. The tour will continue through the streets of Lucca, visiting the Guinigi Tower, the Church of San Frediano, Piazza dell’Anfiteatro - built on a Roman amphitheatre, the Church of San Michele in Foro, and Via Fillungo, where the city tour will end. Then proceed to Pisa where you will see the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Walk toward Square of Miracles, where you will visit the St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral and the Campo Santo, see the Leaning Tower and the Baptistery. Through Via dei Mille you will reach Knight’s Square, where you can admire the Palazzo della Carovana (renovation of the already existing Palace of the Elders), the characteristic Clock Palace and the sixteenth century Church of the Knights of St. Stephen. The tour will end with the visit through the Borgo Stretto, with its suggestive buildings and facades, towards the Ponte di Mezzo. Later by we proceed to Florence. Overnight at the hotel in Florence. Day 6: Florence - Greve - Siena

In the morning Guided Walking Tour of Florence. This itinerary allows you to discover the origins of Florence and the reasons that made her the birthplace of the Renaissance. The tour which lasts about 2 hours, is dedicated to all those who wish to learn more about the facts and secrets of over 2,000 years of Florentine History. Visit the City of Dante, and view the magnificent works and Art from artists such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, and other important figures. We leave Piazza della Repubblica where we discuss the City's Roman origins, then walk towards 62Palazzo Davanzati where we shall take an inside tour. Afterward we amble through some of the less crowded streets towards Ponte Vecchio and finally enter Piazza Signoria through the Uffizi Courtyard. From this main Piazza and Civic Centre our tour takes us past the Oratory of the Bonomini next to the House of Dante until we reach the City's religious centre. The tour finishes with the Cathedral and the Baptistery of St. John. Later we proceed to Greve in Chianti. Enroute enjoy an Orientation Tour of Greve. Then proceed to Siena City in Tuscany. Enjoy a Guided City Panoramic Tour of Seine - the beautiful medieval city renown for the Palio horse race. Overnight at the hotel in Siena. (B)

Day 7: Siena - Assisi

We proceed to Assisi, where you will have a Guided Panoramic City Tour of Assisi which includes the sightseeing of Eremo delle Carceri, Monte Subasio, Assisi Cathedral, Basilica di Santa Chiara, Sacro Covento. Some free time to explore Assisi. Overnight at Hotel in Assisi. (B)

Day 8: Assisi - Sorrento

We will proceed to Sorrento. Arrive and proceed for a Guided City Tour of Sorrento. This tour introduces you Piazza Lauro in Sorrento, passing through Sant'Angelo till it arrives at Massa Lubrense, going along the narrow streets that from the town centre, it will take you to the splendid panoramic terraces sheer on the sea, typical of this area overlooking the magnificent Gulf of Naples with views to the Isle of Capri and mount Vesuvius. Later check into hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Sorrento. (B)

Day 9: Sorrento - Capri - Sorrento

We proceed to Sorrento Port where you will meet your guide and proceed for a Full day Tour to Capri Island. Set off to the beautiful Mediterranean island of Capri, known for its colorful harbors, whitewashed lanes, chic boutiques and hilltop views over the Gulf of Naples. Ride a jet boat to the island and dock to explore the towns of Anacapri and Capri, whose highlights include Villa San Michele, the Faraglioni rock formations and the Blue Grotto. Combine walking tours with free time to explore at your own pace. Any entrance fees are at your own expense. In the evening return back to Sorrento. Transfer to your hotel. Day 10: Sorrento - Pompeii - Sorrento

n the morning, depart to Pompeii and enjoy a Guided Panoramic Tour of Pompeii with discovering the reasons why Pompeii called as a 'forgotten city'. The tour is dedicated to all those who wish to learn about the ancient Roman town-city near modern Naples. Then we proceed to Rome. Overnight at the hotel in Sorrento. (B)

Day 11: Rome

Here we'll embark on a Half Day Guided Panoramic City Tour of Rome including Vatican city. See top Rome attractions on this comprehensive sightseeing tour, such as Vatican City, the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Tiber Island and much more. Rest of the afternoon is for shopping or visiting other attractions. Overnight at the hotel in Rome. (B)

Day 12: Rome

Today is free for you to relax or you may want to discover Rome's famous shopping places where you can find brands such as Zara, Max & Co., Armani Exchange, Benetton, Sermoneta, Pinko and Accessorize. There are also a number of popular shopping neighbourhoods in Rome, each has its own flavour and attractions. Overnight at the hotel in Rome. (B)
